Went to Lowe’s today to return an item and the elderly lady in front of me told the cashier she needed five $2000 gift cards. I told her that unless it’s for your family, I’m calling the police. She was very scared and I explained to her that she was being scammed. I called the police and they verified with her that it was a scam. The scammers called and I told her(scammer) never to call the elderly lady again. I told the scammer we called the police and they have your telephone number. Sadly, the woman didn’t even have $10,000 and she was going to put it on her credit card. Never send any money by wire or gift cards to anybody you don’t know.
